Ramen

I absolutely do NOT have time to write this. But alas, it was too priceless not to record. So here is the thing, Mike is my best friend.  I heard that all the time before I got married, "so glad I married my best friend" "find your best friend and marry him".  I though pUlease does that really happen? Well I don't know about them, but I do know... it did for us!  Mike and I are literally BFF's and it is just great:) People sometimes have a hard time accepting that we are married, because we often act more like friends or siblings (super awkward when they mistake us for siblings:/). We like to think it is because we have just way too much fun together to be old married folk.  Here is an example:

I am the Ramen Nazi.  I hate the stuff and am convinced that it causes cancer.  Therefore, I never let Mike eat it.  He loves it, however, and begs me to let him eat it every once in a while.  Yesterday was one of those days.  He is adamant, however, that he have two spice packages (because he is a growing boy) and I heavily enforce the one-package rule. It is hard to explain what happened when I saw him about to sneak two spice packages in his Ramen, but it ended up a full on war.  Oh goodness, these are the times I wish our lives were a movie.  It would be hilarious to re-play the two of us running around the apartment, me with the extra spice package and Mike trying to tackle me to the ground to retrieve it, both of us laughing too hard to put any real strength into our efforts. Usually, when an M&M brawl breaks out someone inevitably gets hurt, and it is usually me.  We know this, and probably should be wise enough by now to avoid such UFC smack downs,  BUT it is just too fun:)  Alas, I jammed my finger and went from laughing to crying then back to laughing.  In the end, we both surrendered, Michael gave in, and only used one package.  It was just so us and I wish it had been on film.  Anyway, we are heathens and counted it as our FHE, because it was sort of a recreational activity?
