Now before you start having panicky feelings about never seeing us again--we are not moving far! No, not far at all. In fact, we are thinking about staying right here in Provo. BUT the thought of moving is thoroughly depressing; we are talking full on depths-of-despair-type feelings. You are totally invited to share in my anxiety! Here are the details:
Who: M&M of course
What: Our first "big" move--ahhh!!!
When: Our contract comes up in about a month so we are planning to be completely moved in to our new place by the end of the summer. yay...happy summer everyone:/
Where: who knows!! We are hoping to stay in Provo but might have to move to Farmington --either will be an adventure
Why: The apartment complex where we currently live is raising the rent. Not fun. Not fun at all. Don't they know some of us are trying to save for law school? Crazy kids.
So, there you have it. Mike said something the other day that helped me shift my paradigm to be more positive about the whole situation. As I was pathetically weeping over the thought of leaving our 'home' Mike said, "you know Meg, home is where the heart is...and my heart is with you". cheesy. cliche. whatever--it was JUST what I needed to hear. Home really IS where the heart is and I know wherever we live we can make it a home.
So...here is to our next and newest adventure! Any moving 101 tips are greatly appreciated:)

We just moved a few weeks ago. Exact same thing happened to us (rent was going up, savings?, home is where you're with your spouse...). So it's been an adjustment in our new place. But I am glad we did it. It's old but everyone keeps saying we'll look back to these days with fondness and will love this stage of life.

DeleteMoving is such a hassle. BUT it's always fun to create a new home! I am excited for you guys! I can't wait to see pictures of the new place and see where you end up! So much fun! I'll be thinking about ya!
