I feel sad Ive missed documenting so much of James’ babyhood, and now Glade is more then halfway through his first year. But I have to remember one of my favorite sayings-that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago...but the second best time to plant one is now! I can’t go back and document the things I have missed, but I can do a better job moving forward and starting NOW. I can’t say how much I will write-once a year? Every month? Who knows! But the years are going by so quickly and I want to make sure I soak up every second.

Family updates:
Mike-works at a local start-up doing investor relations he really enjoys this type of work and is good at it! I am happy he has found something he likes to do. He still is always scheming about new recipes and hopes to one day watch basketball again (I’m still trying to adopt this love). He is an awesome dad of 3 and the boys adore him. We both have loved having him work just down the street. After 3 years of a 3 hour commute every day we are counting our blessings. He is going to be finishing up his masters degree at the U this year
Meg-trying to find my groove momming 3 little boys. I am going into my 8th🤯 dance season this fall and I can’t believe I still get to live out my childhood dream. I have loved my workload this year and am trying to keep it and not pile on too much. It is always a balance, right? I have been loving our house these past 7 months and making it a home. I’ve been getting the itch to do some performing myself lately, so we will see if I can make this a reality.
Will-enthusiastic as ever. He is such a charming little boy and loves life so much. He has loved his second year of preschool and is so excited for kindergarten in the fall (I’m not ready!). He constantly wants to be older than he is and lives for being in charge. He gets to do soccer this spring and is thrilled! We just registered him for kindergarten and it is blowing my mind he will be that old
James-little man is now 2.5 years old and as delightful as ever. He is constantly making us giggle with his little “jamesisms” as we call them. He loves Daniel Tiger and is always singing songs from it (and making up a few of his own) like “you don’t need to freak out. Just take a breath and tell mommy what you need”. He idolizes his big brother and is working on communicating rather than hitting. He is a delight to have in our home.
Glade-baby G, G-money, Glader, G-unit, Gator, Gladerade. Oh how we love this little cutie. He is pure sunshine and we feel so lucky to have him as part of our family. Will and James are obsessed with him and the feeling is definitely mutual. It feels like he has always been a part of our family and it is hard to remember life before him. He continues to be THEE happiest baby on planet earth. No exaggeration-the kid is near perfect. He crawls all over the place and is always wanting to keep up with his big brothers. We are excited to see who he grows up to be.
