Bridals

I cannot believe Mike and I have almost been married an entire year! It seems to have flown by, and yet it feels like we have been married forever. One year ago Mike and I took our bridal photos. I was unsure whether I wanted Mike to be there and was worried it would take away from our big day. He ended up coming and the pictures turned out great! It also took off a ton of stress of the wedding day--because we knew we already had some awesome pictures.
Right when I was getting married, lots of girls were taking pictures of the "unveiling". The guy would be blindfolded and the girl would take off the blindfold so he could see her in her wedding dress for the first time. I thought this was a cute idea, but didn't want to copy it completely. Instead, I had Mike come over to my parents house and my dad filmed him seeing me for the first time. It was cute:)

I was getting antsy waiting for my dress to arrive from China, so my mom and I went dress shopping. Here was our #2 pick! It is lovely, but I am definitely glad my #1 choice worked out.
My dress was not as sparkly and glamorous as I would have liked, so I bought a sash (cost almost as much as the whole dress!) and some sequins to sew on. Talk about a stressful experiment.... I mean this is my wedding dress we are talking about!
