I can’t believe my baby is 2 months old!! I will probably say that every month, but time is FLYING by. This month has been a great one with lots of ups and some downs. Will is at such a fun stage right now and I wish I could just bottle him up and keep him like this forever. Why do babies have to grow up? <—currently looking into how to stop time…
You: are still a spitting image of your dad. are over 13 lbs. have started smiling and giggling. try to fit your entire fist into your mouth…and get pretty close! think daddy is the funniest. got a cold this month and it was the saddest thing ever (babies should not be allowed to get sick!). love to “talk”. dislike binkies and bottles with a passion. love bath time (once we gave up on your fancy baby bath and just stuck you all the way in the sink). are a little copy cat and will even stick out your tongue if I do it first. were blessed this month. are a tummy time champion and wish you could just crawl away…we are in big trouble once you are mobile. have recently decided you don’t like breastfeeding which stresses mama to the max. sleep 8 hours straight at night (bless you child). love the book “chika chika boom boom” and the song “stuck on a feeling” from guardians of the galaxy soudtrack. are still the happiest camper and chillest munchkin in the land.
I: am still in shock that you are mine. am convinced the word “patience” was invented by a mom. kiss your chubby cheeks millions of times a day. often feel like a full-time milk machine….and you are no picnic to feed kiddo (imagine breastfeeding a velociraptor). am trying to soak up every moment. am totally terrified excited to start working out again. am enjoying my sleep (newborn sleep deprivation is no joke!). feel like a boss if I can get showered and dressed before noon. need more picture memory space on my iphone. count down the days until the weekend. started teaching dance again and realized how much I missed my dancers. love being your mom…I LOVE IT
