I always look forward to this time of year. The fresh flowers. The pastel dresses. IT JUST SPEAKS TO ME. I love the concept of re-birth, of renewal, of resurrection. I loved the message our church put out this year for easter--you can find it
HERE. How thankful I am for a loving Savior who lived and died and lives again. Because of Him I can be with those I love forever. Because of Him death is not the end. That gives me great peace.
We took some fun photos during our Easter celebration on Sunday that I wanted to share! I get so excited about Easter outfits and was thrilled about my dress this year. I've been dying to find a pastel yellow dress for years now and I FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT ONE! It is a lovely buttercream yellow knit dress. I'm obsessed. You can find it
HERE if you are interested--I even got it half-off which was a huge plus! The only bummer is I didn't get close-up of it...next time. 👍
When we were getting ready for church I ran to put on my shoes and when I came back I found William with a tube of lipstick and bright pink smears all over his pants and shirt. 5 minutes before church 😒. It's fine. We survived. Also, Will went to nursery for the first time this week!!! He is 2 months too young still, but the nursery leader said it was okay. WOW....let me tell you what WOW! Game changer, people. I sat through 3 hours of church yesterday and it was heavenly. I enjoyed myself and so did William! He played games, sang songs, ate snacks, and learned about Jesus. What could be better? nothing. that's what.
Three cheers for nursery!
